A Description of our House Plans & Design Services (read before purchase):

All plans shown here are available for modification. If you have the need to customize (resize per site, change interiors), please contact us. New plan designs are in the works so check back, or better yet reach out. 

Specific dimensions available upon request. All questions are welcome and encouraged. Were not a conglomerate - we are a small-based company, so every job is personally handled.

Plan purchase options:

1. Electronic CAD Drawings + PDF Set of our "Design-only" plans:

A "design-only set" drawings are plan layouts (Foundation, 1st floor, 2nd floor (if applicable) with room dimensions (as seen on our website), and 2D exterior elevations. Also includes the electronic CAD design drawings created in Chief Architect software format. The "design-only" plans are created in scale and built completely in 3-Dimensions - including all floors, windows, doors and roof (as seen on website). This is a great option for those who would like to begin with an already constructed base set of plans. The electronic file can be used by your local designer / architect to more easily make plans ready for your area building requirements, or modified to your liking.

If you'd prefer your CAD plans converted to AutoCAD (.dwg) software format, an additional charge can be added based on the particular house.  (Refer to individual plans)

Note: Every plan shown have been drawn in fully 3-Dimensional form using Chief Architect software (these electronic plans will come in 3D). Plans converted to other electronic software format, (i.e. AutoCAD) will include 3-dimensional wall layout, but elevations will be drawn in 2-Dimensions only.

2. Construction building documents - per plan:

Construction documents are the fully-documented plans to bid from and build your home. Each set purchased includes  noted and dimensioned plans (and foundation), structural - and/or framing, exterior and interior elevations, wall sections and general notes for building. Please note that plans purchased are not stamped by the architect outside of Illinois or Wisconsin. Before purchase, please contact if questions needed. Many areas of the country are site-specific, or will be needed to be reviewed and changed by a your local architect for local city or county building codes and requirements.

Note: Construction document plans take from 4-6 weeks to be completed, and will be completely interactive with the home owner until drawings are finished. 

3. Choose a Design plan from this site and complete the building documents with us. (Or bring your own plan):

If you like one of our home designs, or you have a design of your own that you'd like to take further - take that step with us. The design of your home will be interactive from conception to finish. Design first - Building Documents second - with step by step interaction. For a quote, just ask.
